Privacy Notice
Version: 2026-10-18-public-1. Dwight Anderson operates Westnedge Motor Social as an individual; M20R1 LLC provides and maintains the software. Contact complaints@m20r1.com for privacy requests or content concerns.
Information we process
We process your account name, chosen display name, password hash, sign-in/session records, account permissions and security events. We also process content you submit, including photos, videos, thumbnails, captions, comments, tags, likes, voluntary event check-ins, build profiles and private preferences. Reports may include a content link, your explanation and optional reply contact. We keep the agreement versions, text and time you accept, moderation decisions, access grants and operational audit records. Connection information such as IP addresses and request times may be processed for delivery, security and abuse controls. Passwords are stored as hashes; never put a passphrase into a post or report.
Public and private information
Published community posts can be read and shared by anyone. Standalone build profiles are opt-in. Private garage preferences are separate from those public pages. Account email, birthdate and a member location field are not automatically published; they are not required account fields. Avoid putting sensitive contact details or real-time whereabouts into public descriptions or media.
Premium media is restricted to authorized viewers through access checks. Content reports and reply contacts are restricted to authorized reviewers. A voluntary check-in stores your account, event and time. Other signed-in members can see a self-reported aggregate count, not a list identifying people who checked in. These check-ins do not verify attendance.
Why we use the information
We use information to provide accounts and content, connect posts to events, honor your visibility choices, manage access, prevent abuse, review complaints, maintain and restore the service, and meet legal duties. First-party engagement records describe actions such as page requests, link copies and share-button use; they do not prove physical attendance or publication on another social platform. We do not bundle marketing consent into membership, sell member content, or use this upload permission for unrelated advertising, resale or general AI-model training.
Cookies and device choices
The service uses a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite Strict sign-in cookie. Sessions have an eight-hour maximum and a 30-minute idle limit. A separate opaque visitor cookie lasts up to one day and supports request handling and first-party engagement. Intro-screen state may use browser session storage. Saved meets, appearance and preferred map application use local storage in that browser and do not synchronize between devices. You can remove these saved choices by clearing the site’s browser storage.
The location button asks your browser for a one-time device location. It is used only in the current page’s memory for an approximate straight-line distance to the event’s confirmed pin or an identified venue reference. The location is not sent to this app, added to a public profile, saved with a check-in or included in event sharing. You can decline the request and use event-address directions. Continuous and background location sharing are not provided.
Other services
Map views request imagery from Michigan MiSAIL and tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receive browser requests for the map area. The server requests event forecasts from the US National Weather Service. Optional embedded videos may load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Directions and calendar links can open Google or Apple services; social sharing uses the destination you choose. Those services have their own policies. Opening a share panel does not authorize this app to post on your behalf or read your social account.
Retention, removal and backups
We retain active account information and contributions while needed to provide the service and honor your choices. Use the available controls to remove published contributions, likes and check-ins, unpublish a build profile and revoke sessions. If the contribution or event is no longer accessible, contact us for help removing the associated record. Removing content clears it from the active application’s audience; it does not erase copies another person or external service already made.
Standard service backups follow a rolling 30-day retention period. A removed item may remain in a restricted backup until that backup expires. Restricted recovery or incident archives may be retained longer under a documented legal, security or recovery hold, with access limited and the reason reviewed. Agreement evidence, security/audit records, complaints and access records may be kept longer when necessary for a documented legal, security or dispute-handling purpose. We restrict retained copies and do not use them to republish content you removed. A recovery must preserve removal decisions rather than silently making deleted content public again.
Account deletion is handled by request rather than an automatic self-service account-deletion screen. Contact complaints@m20r1.com to request access, correction or deletion. We may verify account control or your authority to act, explain a lawful retention exception and retain only what is needed for that purpose. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents through the content-report form.
Age and safety
Accounts and contributions are for people aged 16 and older. The signup declaration is not an independent age-verification service. If you believe a person below 16 has submitted account information, contact us so it can be assessed. Venue entry and participation rules are separate. Use Report content for privacy violations, intimate imagery shared without consent, infringement or other harm. Reporting does not require an account; do not attach intimate imagery.
Policy changes
We show the applicable notice version when you join and preserve the text you acknowledge. Material changes that affect member participation require a fresh review in the service. Contact us with questions about your information or these choices.
